Oh no! Bowser kidnapped Toadette, so it is up to our favorite mushroom retainer to rescue her! With the power of Toads musical whimsy, Toadette will be safe and sound in no time!

This hack started when I read w7n's SMB1 music hacking guide (see credits). I imagined that hacking in music directly in a hex editor would be excruciatingly difficult. I mean it kind of is, but I got some decent results relatively quickly, so I decided to replace all music (some duplicated with different TRI/SQ1-2 voicings) and built a hack around it. As such it's a nice 40KB vanilla hack with music (which I admired so much when I played advanced hacks years ago).

For my next hacks I will progress to the disassembly, hoping to implement more interesting gameplay changes.
