Our cute little hero Gleeb is stranded on a foreign planet. His ship has run out of power and he desperately needs to return to his galaxy! Gladly this place seems to have an abundance of power cells. However, strange life forms also roam the treacherous terrain, a hive-mind of lowly organisms puppeted by an evil being which Gleeb must be ready to face.

Can you help this cute little fella escape in one piece?!

After familiarizing myself with level design again for the last hack (Reimagined Level-Design), I wanted to tackle graphics next. I'm not the best pixel / sprite artist but I wanted to give it my all and create a full custom graphics set. With this hack being space themed, a dark color palette and stars for the background were an obvious choice. I tried to make enemy designs into alien or robotic looking creatures. Animating the main character Gleeb was probably the hardest but it was a lot of fun (even if he doesn't look much like the cat meme he's based on, lol).
